About 2012, EINH, and New Moon
Minggu ini merupakan “hellweek” bagi saya dan beberapa rekan kuliah lainnya, maklum UAS harus kita hadapi sampai dengan awal bulan depan. Tapi, di tengah sibuknya ujian, saya masih sempat memanjakan diri dengan menonton beberapa film yang sedang beredar di Indonesia.
1. 2012
Film yang controversial. Yah, walaupun hal ini mungkin hanya terjadi di Indonesia, tapi cukup sukses menarik jumlah penonton ke Bioskop yang beredar, sampai2 di di beberapa bioskop menyediakan tempat lebih dari 2 studio untuk memutar film tentang “kiamat” ini. Saya memang menyukai film2 Rolland Emmerich seperti The Day After Tomorrow dan Independence Day namun tidak untuk 10.000 BC hehehe. Untuk 2012 saya menyukai visual effect yang mantap, walaupun untuk beberapa adegan keliatan banget klo diambil di studio seperti perjalanan mereka di Pegunungan Himalaya menggunakan truk dll. Overall, bagus untuk visual effect tapi standar untuk cerita. Saya kasih 7/10 hehehe
2. Emak Ingin Naik Haji
Saya nonton di studio 5 Bintaro 21, ternyata tidak jauh beda dengan nonton TV 14” di kost saya. Dengan audio yang hanya terdengar dari samping layar, saya menikmati acara cela2an selama nonton film ini. Alasan saya menonton EINH karena beberapa orang klo film ini bagus, penuh hikmah dan bla bla bla.. Jadi, ketika saya diajak sama Aga dan Yudha serta Ani, saya langsung menyetujui.
Seperti biasa film2 produksi anak negeri yang saya sukai hanyalah buatan Nia Dinata dan Mira Lesmana, dan memang film ini tidak mampu memberikan kepuasan kepada saya, ceritanya yang terlalu “drama” dengan ending yang ga banget. Jadi, saya sarankan sebaiknya menunggu film ini diputar waktu Idul Fitri tahun depan, atau menunggu stasiun tv nasional ulang tahun aja. Saya kasih 5/10 untuk film ini. Tapi saya lebih memilih film ini daripada film2 selangkangan dan komedi jorok yang banyak beredar.
Oh ya, nonton film Indonesia saya jadi teringat dengan film Garuda Di Dadaku, yang menceritakan kehidupan keluarga sederhana dan sang anak hobi bermain bola, saya menyewa film ini beberapa minggu yang lalu, tapi saya tidak sanggup melanjutkan ke disc 2, karena sudah ilfil dengan adegan pertamanya. Untuk keluarga sederhana ternyata sang anak menggunakan pakaian “bermerk” hanya untuk bermain bola. Hmmm….. kayaknya perlu dipikirkan oleh sutradara, apakah merk itu jadi sponsor?
3. New Moon
Setelah keluar dari studio 5, saya masuk ke studio 2, masih bersama teman yang sama untuk nonton film yang masuk sebagai The Most Anticipated Movie of This Year, dipenuhi dengan ABG2 pulang sekolah, saya menonton film ini dengan mata berat dan pengen segera keluar dari studio sebelum film ini selesai diputar. Cerita yang monoton dan efek yang kurang membuat saya terpaksa untuk menyelesaikan sequel dari twilight yang membuat histeris twilighters di seluruh dunia, bagi yang belum nonton mending nonton DVD Bajakan aja deh :P, saya kasih 4/10 untuk film yang membosankan dan sebenarnya tak layak masuk The Most Anticipated Movie untuk tahun 2009. Eniwe, saya menyukai Allice Cullen, suka style-nya a bit sporty but girly… J

Habis nonton Suara Anda di Metro TV, segmen terakhir ada wawancara dengan ketua MUI. Bukannya mau nyela, tapi di film 2012 itu tidak ada menyusupkan ajaran agama manapun lho pak. Itu juga bukan film tentang kiamat, menceritakan tentang adanya pergeseran kerak bumi.. dan menurut saya juga, film itu malah membuat kita berpikir untuk bertindak lebih baik.. Kenapa semua orang menjadi sensitif akhir2 ini ya??

[Movie] Precious
Saya lagi iseng googling prediksi nominasi oscar tahun 2010 mendatang, ada banyak calon nominasi, padahal pengumuman nominasinya aja baru diumumin bulan januari nanti hehe.. Memang masih terlalu dini, namun, saya menemukan satu film yang cukup menarik perhatian saya "Precious"..
Didasarkan pada novel Push yang ditulis oleh Sapphire, film ini mengisahkan kehidupan remaja afro-amerika berumur 16 tahun yang bernama Claireece “Precious” Jones, dia memiliki kehidupan yang tidak diinginkan oleh semua orang, dihamili oleh ayahnya yang sekarang tidak jelas dimana, di rumah dia tinggal bersama ibu yang suka menyiksa secara fisik dan batin dan di sekolah dia diejek sama temen2, Sebuah hidup yang sempurna... Sampai pada akhirnya Precious bertemu dengan Ms Rain yang "mungkin" akan membantunya melewati masa susahnya..
Saya memang sangat nyaman dengan film yang bertemakan rasisme, seperti Crash dan The Great Debater, saya juga ingin sekali nonton The Color of Purple. Cast film ini antara lain Gabourey Sidibe as Precious, Paula Potton as Ms Rain, dan Mariah Carey as Mrs Weiss.. Film ini juga diproduseri oleh Tyler Perry dan Oprah Winfrey lho..
Dirilis tanggal 6 November 2009 di Amerika Utara tapi limited, film ini sudah menang beberapa penghargaan seperti di San Sebastián International Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, dan Toronto International Film Festival. Oh iya saya sangat menyukai tagline film precious... "Life is hard. Life is short. Life is painful. Life is rich. Life is....Precious"... So, just live your life no matter how hard it is, cos your life is precious... :P

Ketika Listrik Padam
Untuk kesekian kalinya tugas kuliah saya harus tertunda.. Kali ini bukan karena saya diajak temen keluar atau apa, tetapi karena listrik yang dimonopoli oleh pemerintah padam. Mulai dari Puku 6.30 tadi pagi, katanya begitu... Maklum saya baru terbangun dan menyadari listrik padam jam 8 pagi ^^.. Padahal, saya sudah menyusun rencana untuk mengerjakan jatah dari kelompok, ya sudah mau diapain lagi.. Batere yang tersisa malah saya gunakan untuk Online dan mendengarkan musik...
, parah memang.. Setidaknya saya mempunyai dalih untuk ngeles dari temen2 sekelompok.. Maafkan aku temen... Piss ^^VOk tidak usah berbicara mengenai tingkat kemalasan saya yang bertambah parah ini,.. Untung saja saya termasuk orang yang bangun pagi di kost (even it's 8 AM, i am still being a morning person in this boarding house hahaha), jadi ketika menyadari listrik padam saya langsung menuju ke kemar mandi dan melihat air yang masih lumayan, tanpa berpikir panjang sukseslah saya menyisakan air yang sangat sedikit untuk temen kost Hahahahahahaha... Maklum, tadi pagi air sudah dihabiskan oleh mbak2 yang biasa mencuci baju anak kost sehingga pasokan air di cadangan air (pokoknya yang biasa ditaruh diatas tower itu deh ^^) jadi habis...
Hmmmm.... Padahal sekarang sabtu pagi, saya biasanya mendengarkan radio kesayangan di 87,6 FM dan juga 99,5 FM.. Tapi mau gimana lagi, aktifitas saya pagi ini hanyalah baca dan online... Fiuhhh.... sampe kapan listrik bakalan trus gini ya??

Balada Seorang Mahasiswa
Tidak terasa, sudah setahun lebih 10 hari saya menjadi Mahasiswa. Sejujurnya, saya sangat merindukan dunia kerja yang begitu membosankan itu. Tapi, tidak untuk gajinya wekekekekek….
Kalau dilihat ke belakang, apa yang telah saya peroleh selama setahun? Hmmm… tak banyak sepertinya, hanya ada satu dosen yang bernama Bapak Marmah Hadi yang kata-katanya masih teringat ditelinga saya, sedangkan pelajaran atau perkataan dosen-dosen lain hanya teringat ketika ujian dan terlupakan ketika ujian selesai.
Banyak filosofi dan pengetahuan umum yang saya peroleh dari beliau, diantaranya adalah Teori Gajah, entahlah saya terlalu mengingat Teori ini ketika ada perbedaan pendapat antara saya dan teman, antara praktisi dan lain-lain yang saya lihat di tivi. Suatu teori yang simple tapi menjelaskan semuanya. Hehehe….
Sebagai seorang mahasiswa saya dituntut untuk focus dan konsisten terhadap komitmen yang saya buat sendiri. Tapi entahlah, susah bagi saya untuk melakukan kedua hal tersebut. Pertama Fokus, setiap kuliah saya tidak pernah benar-benar memperhatikan ucapan dosen atau teman yang lagi presentasi membahas materi kuliah, yang saya lakukan adalah membaca buku cerita, mendengarkan MP3, ngobrol, atau online di dalam kelas. Mungkin untuk beberapa menit saya bisa focus dan mendengarkan materi, selebihnya saya habiskan untuk hal-hal yang tidak penting. Fiuhh……
Kedua yaitu konsisten, saya menyadari saya adalah orang yang gampangan. Dalam arti saya gampang dipengaruhi oleh teman, biasanya awal semester saya berjanji untuk lebih rajin belajar dan lain lain yang semuanya positif, tapi apa daya, ketika niat sudah terucap tiba2 saya mendapatkan pesan singkat dari temen “wak, karokean yuk” atau “muse, nonton yuk?”, susah bagi saya untuk menolak kedua hal itu.. L dan akhirnya niat untuk belajar atau menyelasaikan tugas hanyalah sebuah niat. Dan saya kembali menjadi penganut aliran SKS. Grrrhh….
Jadi, sampai sekarang saya masih mencari solusi supaya saya dapat memenuhi kedua hal tersebut, any idea fellas??
